Yes, son, it is edible.
So my son has decided he is going to take up after his sister and eat as slow as humanly possible. We've been fighting with her for at least 5 years now on how to eat like a normal human being in a timely manner.
He's started inspecting his food, pulling it a part and occasionally feeding the pets.
So our meal times last about an hour to two hours now. Mom and Dad both eat in about 10 minutes then you have these two monkeys taking their time. Maybe sloth is a better nickname? I think so.
Aside from taking his time eating he needs to dissect anything I give him. Quesadilla? Nope this is a taco and it is not to be sealed with cheese. Pizza? These toppings don't belong on top of this bread. Burger? Why do you keep putting foods together, woman?!
And as soon as he deems appropriate he will start dropping food off the side of his high chair. This is how my sloth eater displays in his own way that he is finished eating. And he always looks so amused to do so.
Of course, all of our pets think this is amazing and have all gained weight since B came into the family. He'll also just feed them to feed them if they come near his chair. Thanks, son.
